Requirements for the Certification of Radio Apparatus to Industry Canada’s Standards and Specifications

5.2.2 Radio equipment imported only for demonstration or trial does not have to be certified. However, it does require an experimental radio licence. More information can be obtained from the office of the Department nearest to the demonstration or trial site. The offices of the Department are listed in the Radiocommunication Information Circular 66, Addresses of Telephone Numbers of Regional and District Offices (RIC-66).
